How much does it cost to host a baby shower at Millerton Lake Villa?
Baby showers and gender reveals for 12 to 30 guests are $250 per hour with a 4-hour minimum, plus a $350 cleaning fee, so a 4-hour shower totals $1,350. Groups of 11 or fewer can book the house for a stay (2-night minimum) instead and celebrate during the stay.
How many guests can come to a baby shower?
Daytime showers welcome 12 to 30 guests. For 11 people or fewer, book a stay. For more than 30, ask us about evening event pricing.
What time does a daytime shower have to end?
Daytime celebrations wrap by 5 pm, including cleanup.
We are 11 people or fewer. Do we need to book an event?
No. The house has beds for 11, so a group of 11 or fewer can book a stay at the nightly rate (2-night minimum) and celebrate during it, with no event fee. If more people are joining for the day, book a daytime celebration for 12 to 30 guests or an evening event instead.
Do setup and cleanup count toward our hours?
Yes. Your booked hours include setup and cleanup, so plan your schedule with that in mind.
Can we bring our own caterer and vendors?
Yes, and you'll need to. We rent the venue only, so you choose your own caterer, florist, photographer and other vendors.
Are tables and chairs included?
No. Most hosts rent tables, chairs and linens through their caterer or a Fresno-area rental company, who deliver and pick up within your booked hours.
Where do guests park?
On the property, with plenty of extra parking along the road.
Is the venue good for kids and older relatives?
Yes. There is a gated backyard with real grass, and bedroom 4 is on the main level for guests who prefer to avoid stairs. The children's loft upstairs has twin beds, books and games.
How far is Millerton Lake Villa from Fresno?
The villa is in Friant, California, about 45 minutes from Fresno and Fresno Yosemite International Airport, about 36 minutes from Clovis and about 15 minutes from Table Mountain Casino.
Is the house on the water?
The house sits on a hilltop with 180-degree unobstructed views of Millerton Lake and the mountains. The lake itself is about a 10-minute walk away, and you are the last property before the lake entrance. Millerton Lake State Recreation Area, including the South Finegold picnic area, is close by.
